I’ll Pass! 1.3 Released Today

It’s been awhile, but today I’ll Pass! version 1.3 has been made available in the App Store. This version optimizes some views for newer devices with larger screens. It also brings the app up to current Apple app guidelines so it can continue to be available for download in the App Store.

As always, the app is free to play. Would love to get some feedback on what you’d like to see changed/added on to the app in future revisions. Thanks, and enjoy I’ll Pass!

Well this was a surprise…

Today I was notified that “I’ll Pass” was removed from the app store because Apple is “no longer allowing gambling apps by individual developers”.

If you have played “I’ll Pass”, you already know that the game has nothing to do with gambling, real or simulated. I’ve appealed this decision. Hopefully Apple will re-review the app and reverse it, and we can have it back in the store ASAP.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

“I’ll Pass!” v1.2 Released Today

It’s been awhile since we’ve released a new version of “I’ll Pass!”, so it’s time we show it some love again. Today we released version 1.2, which optimizes the playing experience for iPhone X users, as well as corrects a number of small bugs and display glitches. As always, it’s a free download!

“I’ll Pass!” v1.1.3 released

Version 1.1.3 of “I’ll Pass!” hit the app store today. This release fixes an issue where the chip count was getting cut off on certain devices under iOS9, as well as provides several more cosmetic and stability improvements. Enjoy, and don’t forget to share with your friends!

Version 1.1.2 of I’ll Pass! released

Earlier this week version 1.1.2 of “I’ll Pass!” hit the app store.  This version includes some cosmetic and stability improvements on top of the previous version’s feature set.  As always, we love your feedback and please let us know if you have any feature requests or notice any issues with the game.

Version 1.1.1 of “I’ll Pass!” released today

“I’ll Pass!” version 1.1.1 went live on the App Store this morning. This is a minor update which fixes an issue some users were having where restarting a game via “Play Again” could have the computer play one or more chips on their behalf before they had a chance to decide for themselves.

Also in case you missed last week’s release of v1.1, there were a few new features added: “Pop-up” rules: Aids new players to learn the game without having to read the full rules. The first time you play, you’ll see various rules pop-up as you play the game. Once a rule displays, it won’t show again, unless the pop-up rules are reset in the Settings pane.

Enjoy!

I’ll Pass! v1.1: Pop up rules, post and tweet your scores!

I’ll Pass! v1.1 hit the Apple App Store yesterday afternoon.  Along with some minor bug fixes, it adds the following new capabilities:

  • Pop-up Rules:  Now it’s easier than ever to learn the game, and you don’t even have to spend the time to read the rules (although they’re still there if you want to). Just start playing a solo-play game, and “Pop-up Rules” will guide you.  Once you see each pop-up, they will stay out of your way in future games unless you reset them under Settings (e.g. if a new player wants to learn, or you want to review).
  • Post and tweet your scores:  Now you can post or tweet your game results!  If your device is set up with a Facebook and/or Twiter account, just click the appropriate icon on the final results screen, and you’ll be given a chance to show the world how you’re doing at I’ll Pass!

I’ll Pass! v1.0.1

An update to I’ll Pass! was released today (v1.0.1). This fixes a couple nasty bugs with the 1.0 release. We’re also working on some new features for an upcoming release as well. Enjoy!
